GY95 Trails and Mud Jumps
Community-run BMX dirt jumps and trails associated with GY95, supporting youth cycling around Cleethorpes.
About GY95 Trails and Mud Jumps
GY95 is part of Cleethorpes' grassroots BMX and skateboarding history. The name is associated with a volunteer-led local organisation working to maintain places where riders can develop their skills, meet other enthusiasts and support youth participation in wheeled sports.
The local dirt-jump scene dates back to the early 1990s, with the GYP*O trails taking shape in 1995. What began as rider-built jumps became a recognised part of local BMX culture. The group has also been associated with Buck Beck Trails and the community BMX race track at New Waltham.
For experienced riders, purpose-built trails and jumps offer a different kind of outdoor activity from the usual resort attractions. For younger people and families interested in cycling, the story of GY95 also illustrates how local volunteers have created and maintained spaces for the community over many years.
These are specialist riding environments, not supervised beginner attractions. Track conditions, access and permitted use can change after bad weather or maintenance, and some spaces may be unsuitable without riding experience. Contact the organisers or check current community information before visiting; wear protective equipment and respect other riders.
