1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

a. By accessing or using Visit Cleethorpes, you confirm that you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
b. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.


2. Business Listings & User-Generated Content

2.1 Adding a Listing

Businesses, services, and property owners can create a listing by clicking “Add Listing” and selecting a category.
If your category is not available, request one via listings@cleethorpesaccommodation.co.

2.2 Submitting Business Details

  • Businesses must provide accurate and up-to-date details, including:
    • Business name, category, and contact information
    • A clear and honest description of their services
    • High-quality images with legal usage rights

2.3 Approval & Listing Management

  • All listings are subject to review before going live.
  • Visit Cleethorpes reserves the right to reject, edit, or remove any listing at our discretion.
  • Business owners can edit and update their listings anytime.

2.4 Fraudulent Listings & Misuse

  • Businesses must not submit false, misleading, or scam listings.
  • Any listing found to contain fake information, spam, or illegal content will be removed immediately without refund.

3. Payment, Fees & Refunds

3.1 Payment Terms

  • Listing fees must be paid before the listing goes live.
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe or other designated providers.

3.2 Pricing & Billing Changes

  • Visit Cleethorpes reserves the right to change pricing and package features at any time.
  • Users will be notified in advance of any fee changes.

3.3 Refund Policy

Refunds are only issued in the following cases:

  1. A listing is removed due to category ineligibility.
  2. A duplicate payment is made by mistake.
  3. A property listing is removed; in this case, the listing fee will be refunded minus processing fees.

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Listings removed due to policy violations.
  • Listings that are voluntarily canceled by the business owner.
  • Businesses that fail to provide accurate details or abandon their listing.

4. Liability & Platform Disclaimer

4.1 Information Accuracy & Third-Party Content

  • While we strive for accuracy, Visit Cleethorpes does not verify or guarantee the correctness of information submitted by businesses.
  • We are not responsible for the content or policies of third-party websites linked from our platform.

4.2 No Endorsement or Guarantee

  • Visit Cleethorpes is a listing platform and does not endorse, monitor, or guarantee the quality of businesses listed.
  • Users engage with businesses at their own risk.

4.3 Indemnification

Businesses agree to indemnify and hold Visit Cleethorpes harmless against any claims, damages, or legal disputes arising from their listing content or business activities.


5. Intellectual Property & Image Rights

5.1 User-Submitted Content

  • By submitting a listing, you grant Visit Cleethorpes a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your images and descriptions for promotional purposes.
  • Businesses retain ownership of their content but permit us to display and distribute it as needed.

5.2 Protection of Visit Cleethorpes’ Content

  • Users may not copy, distribute, or modify any Visit Cleethorpes branding, logos, or proprietary content without written permission.

6. GDPR Compliance & Data Protection

6.1 Data Collection & Usage

  • Visit Cleethorpes collects and processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR laws.
  • Information collected includes user account details, business information, and transaction data.

6.2 How We Use Your Data

  • We use collected data to operate our platform, process payments, and provide customer support.
  • We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except where required for payment processing or legal obligations.

6.3 User Rights Under GDPR

Users have the right to:

  • Request a copy of their stored data
  • Request data deletion (excluding legally required records)
  • Opt out of marketing communications
