Diesel Power Weekend at Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway
Enjoy a weekend of heritage diesel trains, special locomotive pairings and a different kind of seaside railway journey.
Diesel locomotives take centre stage at Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway over the weekend of 10-11 October. The railway plans to run its diesel fleet, including combinations of two or three engines hauling services along the coastal route.
Trains are scheduled to begin at 10:30am on both days, following a special timetable. The organiser has advertised a £15.95 all-day ticket for those who want to make several journeys, alongside its normal fares.
Start at Lakeside Station, near Cleethorpes Boating Lake, and check the official timetable for departures and any last-minute operational changes.
