A great family day out as part of the VE-Day 80th Anniversary, this 1940s-themed event invites everyone to step back in time. Embrace the era—1940s dress is very welcome!

• Windmill & Museum Visit 🏰:
  Explore the open windmill and visit the museum for a nostalgic trip (free entry).

• Delicious Food 🍴:
  Enjoy a variety of offerings from retail food outlets.

• Fun Attractions 🚂🎨:

  • Experience ‘evacuation’ train rides.
  • Delight in entertainment with a children’s entertainer, face-painting, human fruit machine, and balloon-modelling.
  • Participate in a quiz to entertain both adults and children.
  • Join in a colouring competition.
  • Try your luck on the Human Fruit machine.

• Best-Dressed Contest 👗:
  Win a prize for the best-dressed 1940s outfit(s).

• Live Music & Dancing 🎶💃:
  Enjoy 1940s dancing by Smoke and Mirrors and live performances by the Nukuleles and Back to Brass.

• Picnic on the Lawn 🧺:
  Bring a picnic blanket or deckchair and relax with family and friends. No cars are allowed on site, ensuring ample space on the lawn.
